Master of Science in Technology Management (Full-Time or Part-Time)
The demand for skilled and experienced leaders who can guide their firms to compete in today’s highly competitive, global, technology-based economy has never been higher. Columbia University’s M.S. in Technology Management provides new technology professionals and recent graduates with the key strategic and tactical skills necessary to drive enhanced organizational performance through the use of technology and to become leaders in the field. For the full-time option, courses take place on Columbia’s New York City campus and the program takes three semesters to complete (summer semester optional). For the part-time option, courses take place on Columbia’s New York City campus and the program takes six semesters to complete (summer semesters optional) . Courses are scheduled to accommodate working professionals.

Residencies
Residencies are intensive, in-person sessions held in New York City at the start of each term, designed to immerse students in key coursework, industry connections, and collaborative learning. They’re a required part of the program that jumpstarts the semester through workshops, networking, and hands-on experiences including for all students in their first semester as part of Essentials for Tech Leaders, and again during Capstone, which is encouraged in the final semester. Full participation, preparation, and engagement are expected.

F1 Optional Practical Training Opportunities
OPT (Optional Practical Training) is a benefit and extension of F-1 student status that permits you to remain in the U.S. after you complete your academic program with permission to work in your field of study. The M.S. in Technology Management Program (Full Time) is a STEM-designated program.
